The Thames Valley Early Music Forum

The Thames Valley Early Music Forum was formed in October 1988 to promote the 
playing and singing of early music (mainly pre-1750). The area covered includes 
Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and London but we have members as far away 
as Cyprus! Our aim is to hold events throughout the Thames Valley region to cover as 
wide a range of interests as possible. As well as workshops and other large scale events, 
smaller meetings are sometimes held in members' homes.

Tutors in the last few years have included:
David Allinson, JanJoost van Elburg, Peter Holman, Peter Leech,
Alan Lumsden, Michael Procter, Jeffrey Skidmore and Philip Thorby.

Membership is open to both amateurs and professionals: players, singers, dancers and 
anyone else who is interested in early music. A newsletter is published approximately 
every month with articles and information about forthcoming events in the region - 
contributions are always welcome.
